Free Charts and Chart Viewers

In May of 2006 I added a whole bunch of links for charts and chart viewers at our web site

Judy and I did the trip in 1999/2000 using Maptech and Digital Ocean CD's with the Windows 98 Chart Viewer and two Garmin GPS 12's. watch out for shoaling in Bauford, SC

Irwin32 That would, of course, be electronic charts that will work with Sea Clear.

Irwin32 Sea Clear, PC navigation software can be downloaded for free. Charts for your trip can also be gotten for free from the NOAA site.

Info,experience,and maps needed for trip from florida to michigan

I have a 70' schooner, i purchased and would like to bring to michigan from florida myself. I have never experienced this kind of trip and would love to hear from anyone with experience,knowledge,maps,ect. of the trip from south to north. i understand that there are 2 recommended and desired routes. also looking to talk with anyone interested in going along on the trip with me for fun and experience. no date set for trip as of yet. Thanks for any support you can give.
