Caddidle Thanks for the warm welcome! Our fleet has the potential to be bigger but the tbirds are often people's second boat and many are sitting neglected for the most part. its amazing how many "free" boats there really are. Not many of them are desirable but essentially free none the less.

Faster T-Birds are great boats, esp with a sizable fleet... Welcome to Sailnet.

Hello from BEAN TOWN

Hi sailnet,

Just joined finally after over a year of reading the forum threads. Currently have no boat but find myself on the water quite a bit on others boats.

I sail out of Savin Hill YC and help crew a 50 year old Thunderbird for races through out the summer. Currently on the relatively long list of people waiting for membership at the YC. This could be as much as 3 years from now but perhaps two.

In the mean time I will continue to sail and crew on others boats till I have a place to keep and moor my own again. If you're in the Boston area and are ever looking for crew I am interested.

I'll be continuing to look for the right boat and will certainly be asking questions and opinions on here.

Also, anyone here race the newport bermuda race ever? I want to do this some day!

TTYL

Claude
