sailnaway www.waterfrontnews.com this site you will find the classifieds and look under docks for sale and rent you will find a dock. Daina has some cheep slips Miami but remember its winter and the marinas are packed. Why not cross by the Calosahatchie River to Ft Myers saves allot of miles and the Keys suck anyway unless you have a huge budget.

New to sailing/live aboard

Greetings. I am new to sailing and living aboard. In a week I am to take possession of a 29 foot sloop to live aboard for 4 months in Florida before sailing it to Houston. I am looking for someone or several ones who can recommend marinas/personal properties anywhere from the south side of West Palm Beach to the heart of Fort Lauderdale. I will need to be doing some minor work on the boat (cleaning and replacing worn trim, etc). Mostly I will work at an office all day then retire to the boat to putter and learn and hopefully enjoy the company of sea going folk. If anyone knows of places they can recommend please contact me by email with contact information.

I have reviewed notes in the live aboard forum, but can find no recent posts that would apply. Thanks, John
