rubrail maintenance v. replace
New here. Strongly considering buying a 2-27. The one I'm looking at has a
white rubber or vinyl rubrail in fair condition - not crumbling, but that has an oxidized surface and is chalky. Rain has created streaks down the topsides from this, but it's easy enough to polish this off.
I've checked for rubrail replacement cost (Seal's) and can do that - but I'm wondering if
anyone knows a product that can seal up the rubrail surface so it won't need to be
replaced? Anyone done this? Even if I could buy a few more years out of it
will be a cost savings.
Thanks in advance,
