Topic Review (Newest First)

josrulz Thanks everyone! Apparently, I didn't mark my own thread to notify me of posts, so I didn't realize there were any! I appreciate the recommendations. The responses are exactly what I was looking for--just general maintenance on various topics.

I'm not stuck on any issue in particular. I just find that when reading the books I have, I often have a question (or something specific to my boat) that's not answered. A lot of times, you can find an answer in an alternative book. I figure winter is a good time to catch up on some new reading and learning.

mitiempo Sorry, not like those. I've a lot of manuals, Xantrex and the like bit they're all available on their site. Catalogs as well. That's about it but if I find more I'll post them.

mitiempo "The 12 Volt Doctor's Alternator Book" - everything you ever wanted to know about alternators (and some you might not have ) 120 pages and the pdf is free here

While I have Spurr's book, Gougeon's, Calder's and many others I find the net is more up to date and probably easier.

I'll second those. I like Wing's for electrical better than Calder although Calder's very good general manual. Yes on Toss also.
Any experience with Seloc engine manuals? I have the Yanmar book which covers all the parts but offers no kibutzing re: troubleshooting etc.
