granche1 Thanks for the photo. Thats where I thought I remembered one being. Do you know what type of screws or bolts are used to hold it in place. I have not had much luck trying to get the stainless screws that I have to fit. The fact that Im holding my breath while attempting to do this may have some bearing on the situation. Thanks. grant

MC1 A teardrop zinc goes on the bronze gudgeon at the bottom of the rudder skeg . . .

Tempest I put one on the prop, and one on the shaft.

Mine's on the bottom of the skeg that holds the rudder. It's on the trailing edge.

zinc anode locations

Hi all. I recently splashed my crealock 37 after having her out of the water for a year in Mazatlan. The boat is new to me and when she was hauled, I did not notice where my dad (previous owner) had placed the sacrificial zincs. The prop has an anode on the end of it but when sorting through the spare parts, I have found baggies containing a prop zinc and two teardrops leading me to believe that more than just the prop needs protection. Since the boat is in the water now I've only had one opportunity to dive down and search for a place to mount the teardrops. Can anyone help narrow down the location of these?
