tager I once heard a story about a shiny new car being delivered by sailboat, a 15' inflatable was lashed on top of it inflated. It rolled off the deck during a storm, and the inflatable was seen, swamping around the islands, with a car underneath it.

Valiente Given current events, those Haitians are going to need that sort of insane resourcefulness. Nice link...thanks.

sailingdog Bizarre...

BTW, you can use to convert that beastly URL into this:

Video: How to load a commercial dump truck onto a sailboat? — Autoblog

Doing this also prevents the autolinking engine from picking up words like rigging in a url and screwing up the link.

CKH Hi John,

I looked around for later video clips but can't find any of the departure or any later arrival. Maybe because the boat never managed to cast off, or more likely, there was no later arrival.

Hey, don't give away CruisingDad's secret to success!!

Man, those guys are nuts. Are there any more clips of them actually sailing with the truck on board? I imagine there'd be a few white knuckles in the stronger puffs.
