|camaraderie||Suggest you work through a local Hunter dealer broker as they will have natural hunter traffic. 10% is standard for brokers and you should not expect to see a discount. For a boat your size and age going on the market now might sell quickly if you price it right...once you miss the season, the process strings out to 6mos or more. Most owners think their boat is woth more than it is. Drop your price quickly if you don't see any offers in the first 60 days.Good luck!|

A guy (Yacht Broker), by the name of Alex Harrison was recently written up in a very positive way in one of the Yachting Magazines by a Senior Editor. He was with Sassafrass Harbor and I think he is on his own or maybe with with Midlantic in Annapolis or around there anyway.

Selling Broker in Annapolis, MD Area
I am preparing to sell my 1995 Hunter 336 and am looking for a brokerage recommendation in the Annapolis, MD area. There are literally dozens and all I know is that I don't want to use the company that represented me when I purchased it.
Does it help to use a broker that specializes in the manufacturer of boat I am selling?
Is 10% the standard selling commission? Can this be negotiated?
What are the typical sales cycles for boats...a month, 6 months, a year, more???
This is my first "sell", any input is appreciated.
