Just think of what you have to repair to have her sea worthy. Its an odd question and different for all of us.

I was looking at a much older version that seemed nice but wasn't ready to buy. It's about the largest that I found that could be sailed by one person.

Re: thoughts on used 31-35 foot options?

Guys, this thread is over 2 years old and gregwet hasn't posted since then.

I can say, I was looking for a C34 around the same time and the boat gregwet bought was actually #2 on my list. I liked it a lot but there were just a few things about the boat I bought that made my boat #1
I've had my C34 for a little over 2 years now and have been very happy with it. The only major thing I did to it when we bought was to add air conditioning.
It's a very roomy 34 and we are very comfortable with it.

rgscpat Greg,

Just out of curiosity now that you've had the boat for most of a season, how did the boat turn out for what you wanted to do and how much did you spend on gear, improvements, etc.?

chuck53 Gregwet,
You didn't happen to buy your boat in Va. Beach did you?

Good to hear your persistence paid off for you. Post some pics when you get a chance.

Faster Congrats - that's a nice boat for what you want to do, with a decent interior and a roomy cockpit!
