sailingdog It would help if you said what you were talking about... or are you just spamming the forums to drive traffic to your website???

davidpm I for one could use some clues Chris.
Are we talking about sailboats, outboards, dinghy's, screws, paint?
If boats, any particular size, make, model, intended use?

This is a conversation I like to get into but I would like to know where to get started. If it is philosophical question we have another section for that.

The age old question...buy it new and use it? Or buy it used and make it new again by refinishing? Any thoughts? I've got time and SOME (not a lot) of money on my side, if that helps.
