sugarlumpkin Sorry I didn't follow up sooner; some family events have cut my online time lately.

Anyhow, we really enjoyed meeting you guys! Loved the boat tours, also. Thanks again for clean dry clothes after my son got soaked exploring that lovely beach.

We sailed up to Rock Hall on the third to watch the firework. It would have been even nicer if there had been some other sailnetters there to hang with!

wwilson Just back last night. Very good Rendezvous - thanks Dave and Donna for all your effort. MYC is a great venue for the event. Glad to meet all of the SailNeters.

We left about 10:00 a.m Sunday and sailed out the Patapsco (slowly). The Bay was dead calm so we had to motor to the Bay Bridge . As soon as we got to the south side of the bridge we had 12-15 knots of west wind and sailed to the South River on a reach. Then it was a tack-fest with 4 other boats up the South River in 15-20 knots funneled by the river banks. 21 tacks to Glebe Bay where we anchored Sunday night. Then home to HHN under spinnaker only in 5-6 knots NE today.

Here is a link to the pictures that I took. No captions, but if any cast you in an unfavorable light, just pm me and I'll remove the offending pic.

4arch Dave,

Thanks so much for hosting and putting together such a great event! It was really nice to meet some sailnetters, to be able to put some names to faces, and the boat tours were great too. We're already looking forward to doing it again next year and hopefully we'll get to see some of you out on the water or at other events before then!

chef2sail Eryka,
It was Donna and my pleaseure. It was great seeing you and Dan again . The mushrooms and potatoes were great (where did you get the baskets?- I want some). The "cowboy caviar dip" was outstanding, the key lime great, the ice cream a real treat for a 90 degree day, and the salads were great.

It was nice finally meeting up with Sally and Wayne (great cinzano coolers) and thier beautiful HR. Hope we get a chance to anchor out together in the furture and share some more of them. Nice seeing 4arch (Bryan and his wife) from across the way ( we have seen Spindrift out a couple of times this spring ). ScottT and his wife brought the ice cream ( a treat), Sealover came from York , PA., Joe (Bermudahigh) drove all the way from my old home in Ocean City , NJ with the Key Lime Pie) , Nitefly and his wife livened things up too

Thank you all again for making it a sucess.

eryka Thanx again to Dave for pulling this together, and to everyone who came by land or by sea. The food was wonderful, the boat tours were informative, and meeting the people behind the screen names was best of all! I started a thread under "Provisioning" for the recipe swap; I loved everything I ate/drank, from the Cin-and-tonics at the beginning to the key lime pie at the end; and several salads in between. Hope to see many of you again at a Sail With Courtney event later this summer, and/or at the now-annual Sailnet gathering Friday night of Annapolis Boat Show, or best of all, out on the water somewhere.
