sailingdog If you look at the engine/transmission, it will likely have a label that has important information like the model of the engine, which is likely a Westerbeke, rather than a Westerby... which isn't a make of diesel engine AFAIK. It will also have things like the HP rating of the engine and the engine serial number as well as the transmission gear ratio.

You can see the label on this photo of a Westerbeke engine, just right of the bronze water strainer, silver and black on the top of the engine:

sailingdog IT would really help if you said what the transmission gear ratio is as well... with out that piece of information, can't make any recommendations.

Prop Size

Can someone tell me what size prop I need to put on my 1974 Morgan 27 or 28. It is an OutIsland It has a 18 hp westerby in it and the prop is missing. Any advice will be appreciated.
