kwaltersmi Try emailing Raymarine support via their website. I've had good luck getting some support for my ST1000 tiller pilot although it's out of production.

Burnt Motor

Thanks for the reply. The motor is fried. I had 2 units and had a gear go bad on the other one. Used the 2 to make 1 good one. Would like to have a back up though.

CaptainDan99 I think that it will work, but I am not certain. What is wrong with the old drive?

Autohelm 2000

Would it be possible to use a new drive unit from an x-5 tiller autopilot on my old autohelm 2000? After all it is just two wires sending port and starboard commands. Thoughts? You can't find the old drive units anymore.
