WanderingStar That "w" may have been red long ago. I don't recognize the symbol. There is a book on identifying sailboats with many sail symbols in it. I think the words "Sailboat Identification" are in the title.

New to sailing

I recently purchased a small sail boat. Eleven by five foot. It's a sweet little thing that needs a little TLC; which I am in the process of giving. She needs some new hardware, some sanding and varnishing and she'll be ready to launch. I'm excited.

I'm trying to identify what kind of sail boat she is; she has a main sail and a jib. The main sail is original. It has a pink W with a black flying goose over layed and the number 142 below. Anyone have an idea of where to go to identify this symbol?

Thank you.
