Faster Swan is another candidate (esp since the stripe is described as blue)... C&C has an elongated "star" so a picture of what your describing would be helpful.

Blue painted line with an arrow at the bow

Quick sailboat I.D. please. The boat manufacturer in question features a blue line just below the gunwale, (white hull). At the bow the line becomes an arrow. These are older boats.
