After two years I'd be inclined to give the engine a bit of a service before even trying to start it. Fresh filters, oil, fuel, plugs, points, etc. Turn everything over gently by hand to free off the oil seals. Check for water where there shouldn't be any and corrosion where there should. Lube up the stern gland. Free up the throttle and gearbox cables. << other stuff I forgot about >>.
Then think about starting it.

Have you taken the coil wire off from the distributor cap end and checked to see if you have spark going to the distributor?
Check the coil wire itself.
Also, if the rotor was cracked, I'd probably replace the Distributor cap as well.
But before you do that..check the coil
With electrical problems, I always like to do...one thing at a time..

No spark from Atomic 4
I haven't had my boat in the water for 2 years and now it won't start. It has no spark. I replaced the rotor after finding it was cracked but still nothing. Tried adjusting the points but still nothing.
What is my next step?
