I have an Albin diesel that takes quite a while for the fuel to get from the high pressure pump to the injectors after air has got to the system. When I see fuel coming out; is is only small drops that are spit out, not a lot of fuel. I doubt there is a problem with your pump.
Try starting at the filter, and bleeding the system to the h/p pump. Take the h/p fuel lines off the top? of the pump and see if you get fuel. If you do; put the lines back on and pump until you get fuel to the injectors. Mine takes about 30 seconds of hand cranking to fill up the lines. Be sure your fuel lever is at least 1/2 and the kill pull is off and hasn't slipped somehow.

Be sure to have the RW intake valve isolated during all this extended cranking!!

he will know and he has the parts - I would guess a broken spring in the injector pump...he is the god of Lehman...did a ton of work while they were Ford...

they don't make ford lehmans anymore, so parts are gold

If the injector pump is not pumping then it is either plugged, broken or not turning. Unless I am missing something. Injector pumps are expensive and difficult to rebuild so lets hope it's something else.

thanks. it has two bleed screw heads on the pump and fuel comes pouring out but it doesn't come out the loosen injector line.

I guess you could have a problem with the injector pump. Should be a bleed screw on it an you can crack the lines coming out to check.

first thing my wife asked, topside.
seems she remembered two years ago when wind and current were pushing us toward land and i dove down to start the engine and it wouldn't start. I thru out the anchor-swearing a bit- and took awhile to discover the pulled out shut off cable. hasn't happened since!
