You have a lot more brains than a lot of us, and thanks tooooo, i retired 10 years ago or was it yesterday, time has gone so fast.i too bought a sailboat, cape dory 25, going to sail it home from starboard me. to deer island nb can. cant wait, i should have done it sooer, best of luck ,Reg.

WanderingStar Thanks for the support. Jane is committed to another year and a half of work (at least) to complete her current term of office. I hope that cruising with her will convince her to retire sooner than later.

WanderingStar Thank you all for your kindness. It was an honor and an education to serve. The boat truly isn't ready, she needs much upgrading and maintenance. But I enjoy every minute I spend aboard. I'm no perfectionist, I already sailed her home 1100 miles. My real limit is Jane's career, she's not ready to retire yet. I will cruise a couple of weeks this year. See you out there, or in some little port.
