|sea_hunter||The Balmar twin post does fit on the 108, but needs a pretty skookum mounting bracket (custom) and the right pulley (call Balmar). We use a 210A twin post 94 series on a 154.|

Our alternator is 120 Amp which is no longer available. Today they are 140, 160 and higher amperages. We manage ours with an AR-5 3-stage External Regulator. As a practical matter, with a single belt, I don't think any alternator really produces its advertised capacity but ours has been very satisfactory anyway ("knock on wood" eh?).

|e37duff||what amp rating is this silver bullet alt? im trying to find a high output alt that i can control with 3 stage charging so as to minimize engine run times while cruising.|
