Wow. Captain.. Now that's what I call wanting to go to the Bahamas.. But then again, I've been there many times in a 23 foot power boat.

smackdaddy TLo - you crossed over in that little thing? Wow!

Who says you can't take a small boat to the islands?

Going from St. Lucie Inlet to Abacos

Going from St. Lucie Inlet to Abacos at that time. Will be there until after the Abaco Regattas in mid-July. The season is great for sailing, just seek protected waters by mid-July (most of the time).

Tidewater My brother and I have a 23 Sovereign and have been throwing the idea around about doing the same trip. We'll have a better idea come spring time.

US27inKS I may be working on doing bareboat charter from PE to Bimini that time of year. Same sort of thing with the kids. When we get a little closer we'll have a better idea.

I'm planning on taking a 44 foot cat, not sure how you could possibly keep up in a 22 foot mono.

sailor50 Late May/early June would be the most appropriate (if at all) for crossing the Gulf Stream in such a small vessel - do you have a penchant for the old Disney E-Ticket ride?
