Re: Barient 22-39 Winch

Thanks for confirming, George, & no worries. I'm willing to go lower, but probably not 1/2.

I've gone ahead and listed it on Ebay:

Nick - sorry, I tried to PM you, but I don't have enough posts yet to PM. I would sell it directly here for $300 + shipping & avoid Ebay.

Thanks.

kitebuz,
Sorry, for some reason I did not get notification of your reply , in any case I appreciate your offer but it is too rich for me. I think I paid around half that for the one I have got, thinking that the it would not be to hard to run into another. As it turns out these things are akin to hens teeth! Good luck with the sale.
Regards, George

Sounds good & will do. Glad your current winch has held up for you. No response from George yet, so it's still available. I will put it up on CL too.

Size wise, it's pretty close to a current Lewmar 30 which look to go for @ $1k. How does $450 sound, & I'll include shipping via UPS ground?

I am the last poster and would be interested in your winch as I still have one looking for a mate. I am in California so let me know what you think

Re: Barient 22-39 Winch

I know this is an old post, but it popped up when I was searching info for a Barient 22 - 39 winch. I am selling one for my father - it is new/unused. He came across it cleaning out his storage as he prepares to sell his boat. I don't know how long he has had it, but several years at least.

I am looking into pricing (& open to suggestion), but thought I would also update this post. It is 2 speed & self tailing, excellent condition:
