rockDAWG I have only been in Hyannis once. so I don't know any better. Going to Legal Seafood is a safe bet for the out of towner. I have been going there for the last twenty years. It is comforting since I know what I will get.

I guess just like Philip Seafood here in Maryland/DC areas, everyone visiting me wants to go there. But I have NOT been there on my own for years.

sailingdog Why would you get Legal Seafood's Clam Chowder when there are better places for it down in Hyannis. And if you run into problems... you got to remember, you are leaving on a Friday, and just asking for it.

sailingdog Everything I checked seems to agree with passageweather...so leaving on a friday... hmm... that's supposed to be bad luck. Might make more sense to leave on thursday, even if it is just to pull into cuttyhunk or such... to avoid the bad karma associated with friday departures.

rockDAWG Because of the weather forecast has changed. We delay our departure until Friday morning.

Currently Thursday wind at 7 am will be like this:

Friday will be like this. It will be like this (Northwest to Westerly) until late Monday.

If anyone has more reliable forecast please point it out to me. We don't have much room to move our schedules.
