eMKay I've sold a bunch, I use Craigslist and Sailboat Listings, in my experience if Craigslist doen't work you're asking too much...

Sailboat Listings - sailboats for sale
11-19-2010 11:46 PM
montenido I had my Catalina 30 listed with a broker AND Craig's List. I kept bringing buyers to my broker and one of them eventually bought my boat.

You should know that I dropped the price quite a bit. In today's economy you can ask what you think it is worth, or you can price it to sell. Sadly, they are not the same price.

Good luck, Bill

Gettin' the word out

And just to cast your net as widely as possible... be sure to use the ad part of your owners' association web site.
I cannot speak for all the other makes of boat, but I know that the Ericson owners' site gets a lot of traffic, and the For Sale forum gets a lot of hits.

djodenda QuickMick is correct. Although Sailing Texas is now accepting voluntary fees for their ads.

Where are you located? That may help us with your query.
