Banque Populaire is going to try to beat the World's circumnavigation record:

This record belongs to Franck Camas and Groupama 3 and Banque Populaire V is the only sail boat that has a chance to beat that record. Pascal Bidégorry is the skipper (with his crew) that is going to try it.

He is one of the great French sailors (as Cammas). He won a Solitaire du Figaro, won a Transat Jacques Fabre and was the ORMA (60ft cats) world Champion.

Last year he had beaten the North Atlantic sailing record, from New-York to Cap Lizard doing an incredible time: 3Days 15h 25min 48s.

Look at the way they sail the boat and that time will seem not so incredible. What would seem really incredible is the way they sail that huge trimaran
