Type "scam the scammers" into Google. Evidently there are a lot of folks who've decided to play with these guys. Some are quite creative.

BTW- my mother in law got the same email supposedly from a friend of hers. As she lives in the UK and is not the most street savvy, she was quite concerned. Fortunately she asked us before she wired money. Her friend was just fine and doing well in her home in Edinburgh.
This is the new Nigerian Royalty scam...
