Livia I totally get it John. Similarly some people really want to read about families with kids, singlehanders, some want young people...etc. We all like to see "someone like us" out there doing it.

For those who missed these recent interviews, two boats under 30 feet:

johnnyandjebus yahoo, interviews with captains who's boats are sub 30 ft.
Don't get me wrong livia, I read all of the interviews with great interest, its just that the 40 plus footers, are and always be, out of my $ range.

Thanks for doing this, keep up the hard work.

liveaboarddreams Wow, great blog. I love reading about people who jump into sailing and cruising despite the odds (instead of the cautious 12 year plan). Gives us hope. Thanks for the great resource!

jrd22 And a good blog it is Livia. Well done.

Livia As per usual, sailingdog is right. It is a blogspotbloggerblog - basically a normal webpage, not a facebook page.

sailingdog THat's not a facebook page...though it may be linked to via networked blogs on facebook... It's a blogspot blogger blog.... (say that three times fast)...

Sixpoint Yep, my bad there - I first came into contact with it via facebook, but it's just a blog on blogspot. Totally innocuous, and great reading.

WanderingStar Thanks for the reminder. I read it when she started, very interesting. I'm going to catch up.
You don't have to be on facebook, I'm not, I just read the blog.

MarioG I would rather swim with jelly fish then have anything to do with face book, sorry I just don't get it.
