Patient Cool history tidbit Rebel.
I love HC's even more because of that.

You should make a post on Bluewaterboats.org regarding the variants or email the admin so they can specify it on the HC pages. It took me a long time to understand the link of Panda's, Unions, Babas and HCs regarding yards.

Your well written articles on the subject would do well there.

capnorv We own Hans Christian 34T #14 built in 1979, I believe the last. We have recently bought a bigger boat and after 8 years will be offering our beloved Lueza for sale in the spring. I've got a copy of Bob Perry's prints to the Union Boat Company on my boat, and have gone to several of his rendevous, he claims her even if many other rendevous goers don't. At least it seems that way, or just don't know... Good Luck with your 36, they're good boats.

rebelheart
history of the HC36, UP36, and others

I thought I'd share these links; they got into the history concerning these two vessels.

Rebel Heart - The boat and her crew - Eric's Blog - The secret mystery of a Hans Christian 36

Rebel Heart - The boat and her crew - History of HC 36's

If anyone has any additional information let me know, but for those of you with the off-model 36 like mine, it's a bit of history!
