a little late

I know that your thread is outdated but I thought I'd note on it since I just saw it tonight and I sail the area.

Two hours from the Burnt Store Marina base you can anchor off of Cayo Costa State park which is a beautiful anchorage, tie up in Boca Grande, or Anchor off of Cabbage key. You could also do one night in Boca Grande in the Bayou or at Boca Grande Marina, and one in Pelican Bay(cayo costa). There are a ton of great places in Boca Grande to eat and drink. Cabbage key is a great laid back place to get a drink if you are sick of the pristine nature of Cayo Costa. This is a great cruising ground and I hope more people visit via sailboat...but not too many people.

I am renting a Catalina 22 @ Yachting Vacations Sat 3/12 at the tail end of a business trip. Tips, locations, whatever?
Thx
