BubbleheadMd Thanks all.

The relative has passed on, but it looks like I'm not required to fly to Florida so I should be at the Sailnetter's 1-pub pubcrawl this Saturday. I'll be heading to PA to deliver the remains to the cemetary next week though.

wingNwing Sorry to hear about your family, Bubble, and hope to see you at one or another of our raftups this summer.

chef2sail Bubble,

Sorry to hear about the family, hope it works out for the best. Looking forward to hanging out sometime.

BubbleheadMd It's true that we are scheduled for a dip, but the forecast shows that it's only going to last for a few days and then back to the 40's again. No complaints here!

If I don't sail, at least I can do maintenance comfortably. I got my butyl tape to re-bed some deck fittings, and I've done some engine maintenance.

Chef, I'm dealing with a soon-to-be death in the family. It remains unseen yet as to whether or not I'll be needed down in Florida. I sincerely hope to attend on Saturday, but if I'm a no-show, you'll know why.

PBzeer If I could have been ready ... without rushing ... I would have headed south for the winter. Decided instead to stay over, then take some time this spring to "re-acquaint" myself with the boat and boat handling, as well as make sure everything works.

Though it's going to get cold for the first part of the week, as I type, it's 70 and I have the companionway open. Couple more months and I'll be good to go.

wingNwing You guys are making me remember why we put up with all those ICW (icy "W" ??) miles. Stay warm, we'll see you in the spring.

PBzeer Now that 2012 is here, I'm looking forward to getting back out cruising come this spring. (Now, if I can just remember how to raise them white thingys )
