The relative has passed on, but it looks like I'm not required to fly to Florida so I should be at the Sailnetter's 1-pub pubcrawl this Saturday. I'll be heading to PA to deliver the remains to the cemetary next week though.

Sorry to hear about the family, hope it works out for the best. Looking forward to hanging out sometime.

It's true that we are scheduled for a dip, but the forecast shows that it's only going to last for a few days and then back to the 40's again. No complaints here!
If I don't sail, at least I can do maintenance comfortably. I got my butyl tape to re-bed some deck fittings, and I've done some engine maintenance.
Chef, I'm dealing with a soon-to-be death in the family. It remains unseen yet as to whether or not I'll be needed down in Florida. I sincerely hope to attend on Saturday, but if I'm a no-show, you'll know why.

If I could have been ready ... without rushing ... I would have headed south for the winter. Decided instead to stay over, then take some time this spring to "re-acquaint" myself with the boat and boat handling, as well as make sure everything works.
Though it's going to get cold for the first part of the week, as I type, it's 70 and I have the companionway open. Couple more months and I'll be good to go.

The season ain't over until I say it's over!
With temps in the high 50's, I had a gorgeous sail on New Year's Eve! Fingers crossed that the winter stays mild!
