My bad... I didn't realize that Tanzer had produced a 25 footer in the later J/N line. Different boats altogether, and in a different era too.

Would the wheel option have been factory or a later modification?

I'd be very surprised if any were built that way.

T25 Owners Manual

Is there any chance someone has a copy of the T25 Owners Manual, 1986-1988. PDF, Word, Photos etc...

fishinshaq Yep, I should be bringing her over next week. She needs some work but should be some fun. I looked at your boat, Great Shape! but out of my price range. It's hard to low ball offer someone who has taken care of the boat, lol.

Are you running a fractional rig, she just may be over powered, 150 genoa's and such. Downwind, the design should lite it up with good boom vang release, I hope.

was yours listed on Ocean Yacht's site? "The Guvenor" I think? Mine is the other one - Blue
Haven't gotten it to plane, but you've put an idea in my head for sure!

I can easily get 6 knots upwind (5.7 with just the main alone one day!)
Downwind I've found a bit more challenging

the boat is certainly tender, I've thought that a few hundred more pounds in the keel would be good.

fishinshaq Funny I just bought a Tanzer 25 in Halifax. It's hull 003 off the line. People that are 6,4" will find it very tight, most boats for that matter. I have started a Group in Facebook with information on the T25 and T29. If anyone is interested in joining let me know. These two designs are last design models before the bank pulled the plug on Tanzer. The 25 will actually plane out on a broad reach, for those Lazer sailers.
