How did it go with the through hulls, fridge and shower drains? Did you get it all sorted out? A note on the stove, our boat came with a 11lb tank about half full, but out of date and not able to refill. Got the new one had it filled but have not used it yet. our secound year and we are still using the half filled original tank.
Last year we stayed mostly at the marina while getting a grip on the whole sailing thing. This year we have done a lot more overnight trips to get a grip on the whole anchoring thing. Its been an intresting two years.

Here is an update for you...
We found a 5 lb tank that will work.
Mr. Bottrell sold his boat in 2000, and couldn't be of help.
We tested the 5 lb'er last night, everything is peachy, and the stove lit up, so we are now ready for our first over nighter away from the dock & under anchor.
We are heading out next week, weather permitting, on holidays to do
a night at 50 Point Marina, and then a night at anchor elsewhere...

Ah....G-Bay....can be a treacherous body of water. Family have a cottage on Crane, just outside of Mactier, so I am familiar with the area.
We're off to our boat right now...have a good one...!

|chamonix||i keep my boat in Penatang on Georgian Bay. A bit more hazardous but a lot more fun than Lake Ontario. Its a bugger when you have to leave a nice place and come to Ontario.|

|chamonix||Well not that frugal, I can swallow the $5.00, I think that was probably the price I paid, It was just under $100. Was out in Nova Scotia two years ago for a vacation and loved it. Lucky to be living there.|

Yes, we have it, and we have Bottrell's saved as a Fave, too.
Both my hubby and I are from Nova Scotia, so we are entertained by his posting.

|chamonix||Sorry one last thing, If your missing the owners manual type in CS30bottrell on the internet. This will take you to a family web sight by a guy called Bottrell. He has pretty much all of the owners manual on his web page and other good information on the CS30 as well.|
