eddie nelson Hey Boasun how you liking South Shore Marina? I've been wanting to call around the marinas in the NO area to see about chartering. I just chartered a boat in St Pete FL for new years but i would like to find something alot closer that we could charter for the weekends. Plus i really would like to see the Louisiana gulf coast and sail La waters. Its on the list anyway.lol Hows your boat coming along?

Boasun The marina I wanted to use at Intercoastal City have silted in and can't handle the draft of my boat... But found a slip on Lake "P" but to go into the gulf will have to go out through lake Borgne. Am at South Shore Harbor Marina in NOLA. A nice marina.

eddie nelson Im from Alexandria i usually make it down to tickfaw a couple times a year. We like to go to the tickfaw 200 at crazy charlies and the lake bash.

herezjohnny where are you from Eddie? you are talking about boating in my neck of the woods.

eddie nelson You can say that again. We went boating down there a couple of years ago and was not welcome there. I guess they never seen a Crownline run their waters before. We are use to the people around the tickfaw and lake maurepas area and they love to have fun and meet new people. I will say one thing about the Morgan city area, they have some of the most beautiful bayous you have ever seen!

vintageray eddie, the cutural influence in the Houma, Morgan City area is more of the "Creole of color" culture than the Cajun culture along the I 10 corridor. They are a little less accessable and not real outgoing toward strangers.
