rolive1570 I can use a standard 3/8 drive ratchet from the back side (inside salon) but I am looking for the factory device to lower it from the cockpit. It looks like a smooth, round stainless rod at the attachment point. I guess I need to take it apart and examine it to see if I can fabricate something to use from the cockpit. Just would be easier to obtain the device Tartan provided with the boat 30 years ago. This boat had one but someone evidently wanted it and removed it from the cockpit while it was in the slip.

pigslo Have you tried a plain old 3/8" drive or 1/2" drive ratchet?

Centerboard handle

I just purchased a Tartan 34C and it is missing the handle to position the centerboard from the cockpit. Anyone know where I can get one?
