sailingdog The Panbo marine Electronics Blog had found a few problems with a ledge not being on all of the electronic charts. It was Navionics that was missing a critical ledge on their version of the charts.

Surfesq You can absolutely use Navionics with Furono Chart Plotters. That's what I use and they are terrific. Good luck.

sailingdog According to the Furuno site.

Utilizes Furuno CDC or Navionics® mini chart cards

So if you need C-Map support, I think you're RTF or SOL.

SledDog Good point. It's an 1833. I have had zero luck with Furuno tech suppport They have declined to answer three emails (from 3 accounts lest it was a server issue).

sailingdog It would help if you said what model Furuno ChartPlotter...they probably make quite a few models now...and some of them probably can use both Navionics and C-Map, and others can't. In any case, you should probably check with Furuno's tech support over on their website.

Electronic Chart Plotter

Any one know if it is possible to reconfigure a Furuno Plotter form C-Map to Navionics?
