2ndimpression Ive had one of those boats docked beside mine. Tons of room inside of them, very comfy. Sails like a pig. Has tons of windage on them. If you have any competivness in you at all when another sail boat comes up to you your gona get really fustrated cause you prolly won't keep up. If you got a couple of kids and you want to just sail safe (i don't know of any bad hull things etc) and comfy you prolly would like that boat.

Better deals around than that

These boat have a terrible reputation - and for that price there are lots of better (real sailboats) around. The only Buccanneer worth checking out, IMO, is the Peterson designed 295, but even then the design may be OK, the execution of it may still be questionable. I'm with Cam, run - don't walk.
