jameswilson29 The PO of the P26 I bought had used a broom handle or toilet bowl plunger handle to operate the manual bilge pump.

whosyerbob Be sure to check that it actually works and that the rubber bellows hasn't dry-rotted. We had to replace the one on our 1986 P303 and the new one works perfectly.

nickmerc It looks similar to the Whale Gusher pump on my P30. I would just measure the inner diameter of the socket and find a rod that fits. Or you could get the spare part from Whale.

Another New Pearson Owner Question

Hi All,

Bought my first p26 last month and am working on getting it shined up. In the cockpit there is what i think is an area for a handle attachment for a manual bilge pump. Does anyone have any idea what brand this could be or what handle I would need to operate it?
