|carl762||I'd recommend a Sundance 23, but there are only 3 in the world that I'm aware of. Boat hauls butt! One's for sale in Chicago area, last time I checked.|

I like the Capri 25's but they are hard to find.
I would buy one today if I could find one.

J-80, J-109, capri 25, older J boats, 29, 30. The Capri 25 is on my short list of upgrades for a lot of reasons... no it is not as fast as a J.
Cheaper PHRF option is an S2. But you have to understand my thought processes are trailerables... let these other guys weigh in on bigger go-fast boats.

Wanting a new sailboat
Well it is official - I miss sailing..
First I sold my 1978 Catalina 25 - then missed it.
Then I bought a 1979 Islander 30 - now miss it.
But I am thinking about something less 'cruiser' material.
I am thinking more like a 'performance' sailboat, but not quite a Melges ( for price and required skills ) - just something to be able to go out in and fly.
it would need to be large enough to handle 2-3 ( 250lb ) guys - but still go fast in light winds - -
I know, I know - 750lbs in a light wind...... but I can wish right?
Suggestions on make/model ? Oh yeah - lake sailing of course and trailerable.
