Powerboater moving to sailing
Good morning all,
I've been boating with powerboats since 2000, with my most recent boat being a 1971 Aristocraft 19. Over the past few months my wife and I have been sailing with a friend in his Cal20 out of Alameda, and although the weather has been uncooperative, we've had a better time sailing than I ever have had motoring. We're getting ready to take one of the keelboat basics courses that are offered here in the Bay Area, and are looking forward to more sailing in the future.
Thank you everyone for the great forums full of information. I've been using them to supplement the knowledge I'm getting out on the water.
