Re: who do you have your spirit insured with ?
PaulSims, sorry to go back from your post in December but I recently got a North American 23 and will start renting a slip at England harbor. Will I need insurance on this boat or just liability? Is it even mandatory on the reservoir? I'm thinking minimal coverage as I paid $2500 for the whole boat/trailer.

Your boat is not insured with a liability only policy but that may be all the marina needs.

I had mine through Foremost in MS. Progressive couldn't beat the price. I'm an Insurance Agent (dirty word) here in MS, and def shopped it around. I can write in most states, so let me know if you can't find something, and I'll check it out.

|itsaboat||We bought a 1985 PY27 last week and I got about five quotes. Liberty was the one I went with. BoatUS was competitive, but they required a survey which around here was over 10% of the purchase price. I decided to take my chances without one since I had a good knowledge of the boat's history.|
