You did great - I picked up that book as soon as it was out. Very entertaining - the only problem was it was too short. GOB is the best mag on the market right now IMHO.

carl762 I bought a nice sailing ship water color for the newly painted bathroom. Also, a Wooden Sailing Square Rig Model. I also bought myself a Brass Victory Thermometer/Hygrometer that matches the clock on the starboard side.

Got a Pirate Flag, finally.

Just ordered some Musto Foulies just this morning, that I hope to collect by week's end.

BubbleheadMd I was very adamant that this year's Christmas should be low-key, and to scale back the gifts. I'm getting more and more turned off by materialism and commercialism as I get older.

As a result, I got a copy of "Yacht Design According to Perry" and a subscription to Good Old Boat magazine, which I much appreciate.
