sailingdog Another good place to contact is the local marina/marine services owners group. They have one up here in Buzzards Bay, and probably have one down near your neck of the woods... If you tell them the description of the boat, they can keep an eye out for it, and might even be able to tell you if they came in and got the boat repainted.

hellosailor Ron, your boat is kinda distinctive, with the big aqua stripe and pilothouse. If it is around there...remember to call the USCG stations and any "harbomasters" in the area, let them know it is AWOL and ask for their assistance.

Good hunting!

RonandKellyPen We wanted to let everyone know that we had a possible sighting of our boat Sunday the 24th around 3:00 pm and it was an approximately 41’ Ketch, with pilothouse, cutter rig, Farvuno Radar on Mizzen. It tacked about 200’ from shore at St. Pete Beach then went southbound west of Eggmont Key. This came from someone out on the water that couldn’t get any closer. We really appreciate the eyes out there!! Thank you!

camaraderie Ron/Kelly...From Florida they might have crossed to the Bahamas or gone up the ICW. You might want to ask customs in West End and Bimini if they've seen the boat. If they went up the ICW a lot of the bridge tenders keep records of the boat names that pass under them. If they went to Mexico...tracking may be more problematic.
Sorry for your trouble...good luck.

RonandKellyPen Thanks Bernie K, we appreciate your eyes out there.

Bernie K Ron & Kelly:

I wish you luck -- I'm in the Chesapeake area so will keep my eyes open for your boat as I'm out on the water! The pictures have helped.

RonandKellyPen I'm not sure how to get bigger pictures on We have gotten so much positive feedback and lots' of helpful hints. I can't say too much here but when this is all resolved I'm going to enjoy telling you all the great details and not so great details. We're hoping for a happy ending but if not we at least enjoyed discovering this forum.
