deniseO30 I had one.. sold it on Ebay for a $125. The guy that bought it is buying them up he came all the way from somewhere in New England to buy, didn't care if it ran or not. It ran, and ran great but the flywheel had a crack in the hub. Collectible I guess they are.

SlowButSteady Brings back memories.....I can almost feel my old boat shaking to bits, and smell the half-burned 10:1 mix, as the Seagull putt-putt-putts up the Oakland Estuary.

SloopJonB That 4 blade prop looks suitable for a small tugboat. Just the British in the name of it should be sufficient warning. Those things were horrible 35 years ago and they didn't improve with age.

bljones Jaysus, 200 clams for a suspect Seagull?

I have a soft spot for the seagull's no-frills styling, but they are heavier than they need to be and finickier than I want. I've owned a handful and now that I have tried a Yamaha p45, I never want another Seagull. I would like to retrofit a Seagull tank to my yamaha's chassis and get rid of the plastic.

You Never Know What You'll Find on Craigslist!

Every once in a while I peruse Craigslist -- just for fun. Sometimes you run across the darndest things! Here in Washington D.C's Craigslist boat section is this advertisement for a British Seagull outboard motor! I'll bet there's an interesting story as to how it got there, although the current owner doesn't know. Of course my first thought was for Dylan Winter. I wonder if the poster will find a taker?
