killarney_sailor Exellent blog entry, looks like you are having a great time.

To those reading, the import thing about cruising is not the storms. Those, and associated breakdowns and discomfort are just the price you pay to get to visit interesting places. Often the most interesting places, like the Falklands, have the highest 'admission' prices.

smackdaddy Incredible Michael. Your Hunter (under your fine skippering obviously) is doing an amazing job. I'm dumbfounded that your cockpit enclosure held up so well in F11 conditions. Wow. Who was the company that made it for you? They deserve a shout out.

Also, what are your thoughts on the windlass issues? Poor materials?
