You can never have too many fleeces on board here in the Salish Sea, and a good heater is a "must have". Good sails are also at the top of my list of must haves, if the boat doesn't sail well it takes a lot of the fun out of it.

really?? what do the J24s down there do? I am betting that the compaq 16s in this story did not have holding tanks:

In addition to a well found boat with complete safety equipment and any other creature comforts or personal aids anyone else has mentioned... I NEED A GOOD HAT!

A Porta Potti here in South Florida is a $250.00-$500.00 Fine So I hope you would have a Marine head with a locking Y-Valve
