Re: Coronado 25

I have recently purchased a 68' C-25. It is currently in Idaho and I will be traveling over there in late March or early April to pick it up. I got it from a longtime friend of mine for $1500.00. Boat includes a lot of little extras, motor, main, 2 jibs and a spinnaker. According to my friend, it has been well taken care of. Boat has been rewired, two of the winches upgraded to self-tailing, bottom done with 4 coats of antifouling. Didnít hurt that itís been in fresh water all this time. I would appreciate hearing from readers about upgrades and modifications to their Coronados. I will attempt to post some pics when I get the chance. Thanks!

Does anyone hav hull number 1122 or 1736? We were original owners of 1122 and our friends owned 1736.

Re: Coronado 25

my mast measures 28'4"(step to top). Max luff of main - 26'(20" of life rails to clear boom + + 4" from top to halyard block). Most likely there is noway to win a race with this mast . Im getting on some major repairs(sending hull down, designing and building new rudder, center board repair). Trying to get info on getting CB out. Im sure there is a pivot bolt somewhere. Key word is "somewhere". So let me know if anybody knows how to get it out. Also let me know if anybody attempted to redesign rudder with success. I found original rudder pretty much useless in high winds no matter what your course is.
PS: BTW is there anyone parting C25 out(private or boatyard) in FL. Will b happy to get my hands on better/missing parts.

Coronado25 CB 29.66 9.00 25.33 11.00

Here's for the fin keel:

Here's for the centerboard:

These boats don't have a "full" keel. Hope this helps.
