Navtech is in Guilford in the old Flexible tubing building. They will refer you to a rigger.

You check for forzen fittings and sockets, make sure they are lubricated, and preferably do a dye check or scrutinize them for stress cracks.

NavTec organizes things by what they call a "Class A (B) (C)" inspection, based on the number of years or miles the rigging has been in use. Every so often they call for taking down the whole rig (Class C) to go over all the bits in detail. At shorter intervals, it is just inspected in place. Give 'em a call, sometimes they answer the phone & email.

On the 35' the mast comes down every season which is not realistic for most owners

The issues are things like the fittings that go on before they head the rod in the machine seizing in the cups and the heads do work harden

The other issue is the threaded sections of the turnbuckles have the shortest rated life by navteq of anything in the system

Rod Rigging

The boat I'm working on a Beneteau 32s5 has discontinuous rod rigging.

How does one inspect this kind of rigging?
What are the issues?
