Re: Boat Suggestions Please!!!

I don't know much about center cockpits but pretty sailboats, I would say BABA, and Hans Christians. They are pretty as they come

My favorite of this size - Tayana 48
Bob Perry is the designer.

Re: Boat Suggestions Please!!!

The Moody 40 might fit your bill. Sea berths as well as nice accommodations (3 private cabins) at anchor. the lines seem prettier than the 42, which appears bulky. The Stevens 47 is another candidate you might want to consider, though finding one in the UK might be difficult.

Budget £80 - £100k
Good manoeuvrability
Pretty!

Not much to ask!

We have viewed a Colvic 50 - too heavy, not pretty enough.
Also viewed a Westerly Oceanmaster 48 - pretty, but - within our price range - not a stateroom.

All suggestions welcomed!

If you are flexible on your requirement of a ketch, you would likely have a lot more options. Modern designs and autofurling make the more common sloop easier to handle. I have nothing against ketches, but it narrows your options considerably.

For what it's worth, you may have already seen it but here is the link for another thread on the relative advantages/disadvantages of ketches.
