Re: Does anyone else use Powerstride batteries?

If it is this battery Group 27 - 12 Volt Dual Purpose Marine Battery - 27TM it is not a true deep cycle but a hybrid battery at best.

True deep cycle batteries like Trojan T-105 as an example do not give cranking amp ratings. That is reserved for either starting or hybrid batteries.

Look at the weight of the batteries. Similar numbers is not sufficient data. The weight of similar sizes is the key. Heavier batteries obviously have more lead and therefore will last longer in heavy duty situations.

Does anyone else use Powerstride batteries?

My boat came with 4 of their 27TMs. I did a search and read claims that their batteries are actually made by US Battery, which should be good news as I've read in threads on Sailnet that they make some of the best deep cycles.

Batteries - Golf Cart - Marine - Deep Cycle - Motorcycle - RV - Powerstride

They seem to be a chain of dealers in California.

Mine are now 3 years old and I'm wondering if I can hope for another 3 years.
