Just mounted second panel 80 watt x 2 one panel on each side hope to cover more range of sun boat on is on the mooring for the summer Got it covered for SE wind or the North West 160 watts should cover it

The panels are definitely connected to a dedicated charge controller. When I get a chance I'll see what kind.

I have mounted my panel on the hand rail Do you have a MPPT controller connected to your panel?

When I bought my CS36T, the PO had mounted 2 solar panels, one one each side on the railings. They stay folded down, vertical, while sailing, and swing up to horizontal once the anchor's down. Have never had any lines get caught on them.

I plan to mount mine on top of my bimini. Still on my to do list.

Mounting Solar Panel

Has any one mounted a KC 80 Solar panel on the CS 40 Looking to mount on the deck just forward of the Dodger or on life lines?
Second question what MPPT controller do any one use
